PORTRAIT OF THE WINEMAKER:

Based in Champ-sur-Layon for almost two decades, Damien Bureau is one of the most respected natural wine producers in the Anjou region. He began his winemaking career in the early 2000s, interning at several "Domaine" wineries, gaining invaluable experience that now shines through in his wines. After meeting Sébastien Dervieux, aka “Babass,” in 2006, he decided to settle in the Anjou region and begin making wines.

Starting with a small plot of land, he produced the sparkling wine “Saperlipopet.” Over time, he expanded to four hectares of vineyards, where he now produces exceptional white and red wines that can be described as precise, elegant, and yet free.

TASTE PROPERTIES:

This is a great symphony of typical grapes from the Anjou region, in which we can also find berry aromas - strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, as well as a floral profile and spice aromas.

FOOD PAIRING:

Pairs well with beef, game dishes, stews or hard cheeses.
