TASTING NOTES:

The label reads "Vif et pétillant", meaning "lively and sparkling". Made from pears grown in unsprayed orchards, from trees that can live up to 300 years. This "Poiré" is made primarily from a pear variety known as "le blanc", the white one. It is high in acidity and slightly lower in sugar. This makes this "Poiré" slightly firmer and fresher than other "Pacory Poiré" varieties. Clear in color, lightly sparkling, and sometimes referred to as the champagne of Normandy.

FOOD PAIRING:

Pairs perfectly with seafood, sushi, and white fish.

Serve chilled (4-8°C).
